We are delighted to announce our upcoming New York event, A Taste of HOPE. This will be cross-cultural evening of great live entertainment and wonderful food and drink from Ireland and India.

There are special auction prizes up for grabs including an opportunity to meet Oscar winning actor Jeremy Irons in NYC and a chance to purchase a pendant worn by Marilyn Monroe.

100% of the costs are sponsored so 100% of the ticket price goes to HOPE. The venue is the beautiful American Irish Historical Society building on 5th Avenue.

Our special guest is Irish Rugby Legend Mick Galwey. His performances with The Lions, Ireland and Munster are now part of Irish Folklore. Throughout his career Mick, affectionately known as ‘Gallimh’, proved to be an inspirational leader. He is a sought after motivational speaker and his hilarious anecdotes are as legendary as his rugby skills.

There will be a fusion of Irish and Indian entertainment.  Music will be by Irish Country star Riah Butler. Riah, a patron of The Hope Foundation, came all the way from County Galway, Ireland to perform on the American Country Star stage in Nashville.  And perform she did!  Riah’s amazing vocal talents took her all the way to the top to become the 2014 Grand Champion. Since then she has lived and performed on the Country Circuit in Nashville. Her debut EP ‘On Sunday’s’ went to the Number 1 on the Irish Country Music Charts. Entertainment will also be provided by Irish and Indian dancers.

We really hope that you will share this unique night with friends, and join us for a special  line up at a beautiful exclusive venue for A TASTE OF HOPE and make a difference to a child. $250  can educate a child for up to one year in Kolkata.
